Many Faces of Braydon ~ 7-27-10

The many faces of Braydon. He cracks us up with all of his faces.

Astros Here We Come ~ 7-25-10

Michael was fortunate to received some Astros tickets from work. We decided to take Cameron to the Astros game and Uncle Scott came with us. Daddy went and bought him his very own Astros uniform for the day, which we can't get him to take off now. He got to see the Taco Bell sauce race, the train in action, eat an Astros dog, take a pic on a very large baseball and run the bases! Here are some pics from the day. A great first baseball game (even if the Astros lost)!

Time for the Bumbo ~ 7-25-10

Time for the bumbo! He likes it on occasion. We'll keep trying.

Only 6 Years ~ 7-24-10

Hard to believe 6 years have gone by. I asked Michael for an adult beverage the night before our anniversary and unfortunately we didn't have one. So, on our anniversary he brought home a card, flowers, and that beverage I really wanted. Such a great husband. I don't think I'm high maintenance at all.

The card was really cute...It says "It's our anniversary and it's perfectly okay for us to do EXACTLY what we WANT to do!" Then you open it up and theres this couple sitting on the couch looking less than desirable with the guy snoozing with a paper on his chest and the woman reading with a sandwich and drink. It reads, "Pathetic--But Perfectly okay!" With having a 6 week old and a 3.5 year old we are dying to just "sit" and watch tv.

Oh what I ride it's been the last 6 years of marriage!

Before and After ~ 7-24-10

As a mom I try to feed Cameron more healthy foods. I will admit that it doesn't always happen. However he makes it easy because he likes vegetables and fruit. The strange kid likes things a lot of adults don't like. He will eat all types of fruit, without hesitating. In addition, he likes mushrooms (like his dad), sauerkraut (like Nana and his mom) and LOVES green beans straight from the can (if I would let him).

This day I gave him some strawberries, which are a must in our fridge when they are in season and blueberries (from our friend Christy). I just have to remember that he's not as big as I think because as he got off the chair to take them to the table this is what happened...Accidents DO happen.

What will they think of next? ~ 7-23-10

Braydon got a gift from Aunt Lydell and Uncle David. And Cameron received a gift also. Isn't this cool. An airplane with the gift card. In a few years what will they think of?

Visiting our Friend Brandon ~ 7-23-10

Cameron, Braydon and I visited some friends in Huntsville. Cameron is 1 1/2 years older than Brandon but they are about the same height. Here they are trying to call the miniature horses to come visit them. But once Joe got them close the boys didn't want anything to do with them. Silly boys!

Comfy on Cameron's Pillow & Who needs Clothes? ~ 7-23-10

Just chilling in his chair!

Onion Boy ~ 7-22-10

We went to Taco Cabana because we had a coupon we could use. We hadn't been in a really long time. Michael got some chopped onion from the condiment bar and guess who decided to eat the onions raw.He didn't just eat 1 or 2 he ate quite a few. I guess it's the Hispanic side of his heritage coming out in him.

Tummy Time & 5 Weeks Old ~ 7-22-10

Tummy Time - So Cute!

Braydon Andrew ~ 5 weeks

Cameron helping Braydon out.

Last Day of Swim Lessons ~ 7-22-10

Here's Cameron's last day of swim lessons. He had a blast!

Jumping off the diving board. I would have NEVER in a million years thought he would jump off the diving board!

Swimming to the side.

Going up to go down the slide. This took some coaxing as you can see because the play ground has a HUGE bucket that dumps water. Cameron is a bit afraid of which I can't blame him. It dumps a ton of water.

At the bottom of the slide.

King of the World and Being a Big Helper ~ 7-21-10

Cameron helping hang his clothes up and he was happy to put them away. Such a big helper!

Day 11 of Swim Lessons ~ 7-21-10

Cameron at his 2nd to last day of swim lessons.

Waiting his turn to jump in the water.

They went to the toddler pool and they had a lot of fun. Here Cameron is chasing the ring he was tossing around the pool.

Here he is jumping off the side into the pool.

Here he is with one of his instructors laying in the water.

Here he is laying on the step and putting his ears and head in the water. He's come a long way from earlier in the summer and especially last summer.

Gaining Weight…Take 3 ~ 7-20-10

After Braydon's Echo we went to the lactation center and checked Braydon's weight yet again. Now he is up to 10 lb. 1.2 oz.

Our Two Boys ~ 7-21-10

Little and Big Brothers! Braydon sleeping and Cameron being goofy in the Bumbo chair.

Follow-Up Echocardiogram ~ 7-20-10

After going to lunch Braydon and I went to the hospital for his follow-up echo-cardiogram. I requested the same echo tech that we had for the first echo. She was very nice and told me during the echo that the heart murmur looked tiny and insignificant. YEAH!

Lunch out & Adult Conversation ~ 7-20-10

Michael and I were invited to an appreciation luncheon by our friends Mike and Robin Sproba. The Sproba's own Synergy Realty and are realtors in our area. They sold us our townhome on Lake Conroe 6 years ago, sold it for us 2 years ago and helped us get into our current home at the same time. They invited us to the "Top 20" luncheon at Shoguns. Michael and I along with Graydon had a delicious lunch and very grateful for the adult conversation. Braydon was a model baby and everyone enjoyed seeing him on his first lunch excursion.

Mommy and Braydon ~ 7-19-10

Mommy with Braydon. One of the few times you can catch Braydon napping so peacefully in the evening.

Braydon ~ 4 weeks, 2 days

Cameron the Tool Man ~ 7-19-10

Cameron the Tool Man. He has a pair of goggles but prefers his swim goggles instead.

Happy Birthday Mark ~ 7-18-10

We celebrated Uncle Mark's birthday. After we blew out the birthday candles we went out to dinner at Macaroni Grill. Happy Birthday!

First Bath in the Sink and Dinner Out~ 7-18-10

Chilling at Nana and Papa's. Is it nap time yet?

First bath in the sink. He won't be able to do that long, but he fits just right for now.
Looks like he enjoyed it!

Later in the evening Braydon went out for Uncle Mark's birthday to Macaroni Grill. While the company was great the food was a little lacking. Next time we vote for Olive Garden.

Newborn Pictures...Maybe ~ 7-18-10

Braydon didn't want to cooperate when we got the family pictures made a few days ago. So our photographer offered to take some more. We were able to get some more shots but not the "newborn" pics I wanted. None the less we got some greats shots.
