Newborn Hearing Test, Mommy to Doctor & Lunch with the Girls ~ 7-2-10

On Michael's last day off before returning to work we have a full day, or some of us did anyway.

Braydon had to go back to the hospital to have his Newborn Hearing Screening done. Since we checked out on day 2 of the hospital instead of day 3 communication was lost and it wasn't done before we left. So, after lack of communication on the part of the pediatrician's office - where I was told we could do it - we had to make an appointment at the hospital. The nurse who administered the test was EXTREMELY nice and appologetic that she was a few minutes behind schedule and there weren't any baby beds to put him in. Of course I didn't care because hopefully that meant they would charge us for it! Anyway...the test went by really fast which is unusual and Braydon slept through the entire thing. The testing is really interesting and he looked like a monkey with all the apparatus attached.

Afterward we all loaded up and went to my first postpartum visit. Everything went as expected. Then we had just enough time for Braydon and I to make it to lunch with the girls. Cameron and Michael enjoyed some time together.

A busy but fun day.
