After finally getting there we started by the giraffe's.
Throughout the day we saw all kinds of animals, including gorilla's, longhorns, elephants, lions, tigers, and bears, oh my!
Braydon enjoying the ride.
The door was open on this guys cage. It was interesting seeing him so close and not thru glass.
Braydon taking notes from Ccameron on how to get to the bears.
Longhorns!
I love this tree. Wish we had more still standing.
Enjoying the view, looking at...
This crazy creature!
Boys enjoying the orangutang statue. Braydon wasn't so sure about it.
But soon warmed up to it.
Sharing lunch. Such sweet brothers.
Such a site seeing a helicopter land on the nearby hospital. Too bad someone had to be in trouble for us to see it.
Braydon enjoying the duck pond.
Cameron and Braydon sharing the stroller.
The baby elephant playing in the water.
And then promptly rolling in the dirt.
Our breathtaking national treasure, the Bald Eagle
Getting our souvenir, a zoo penny. I started getting these many years ago when I see one of these machines and the boys and I continue.
Cameron helping Braydon get his.
Cool elephant statue on our way out of the zoo.
We were barely on the highway and we saw this in the mirror...
Of course this kid was wide-eyed!
And this is a cool house that is not far from the zoo. It's really cool looking sitting on the side and above the highway.
Then, Cameron wanted his turn to take pictures. So here's our budding photographer.
Not a bad picture of the skyline.
