Spring Break in Broken Bow, Oklahoma ~ 3-18 thru 3-21-10 ~ Part II

The beautiful walk back from breakfast.

Daddy and Cameron enjoying our walk back from breakfast.

Cameron relaxing between our cabin and the river.
Cameron relaxing with Papa in "Old School" lawn chairs.

Cameron enjoying the outdoors where water had been just a few hours earlier when the water was let out of the dam.

Fishing from the bank with Daddy and Cameron's "beer."

Cameron enjoying a s'more without the marshmallow.

All pooped out on our way into town. I guess that's what happens when you are too busy to take a nap.

Having a blast playing Putt-Putt

Showing off his 2 pennies he got rolled with the Beaver Bend logo on them. I've been doing this for years at places I've been and happy now to pass on the tradition.

Since the weather was less than desirable on Saturday during our stay we decided to check out some of the local inside attraction. We went to the "Forest Heritage Center Museum" that had lots of great information and "Tree Bear" who encourages people to plant trees.

While we knew the weather might be a little chilly and rainy, we did not expect to see SNOW on our last morning.

Quite an accumulation of snow. Who would have thought?!? It made driving home, almost to Nacogdoches, a little hairy.

All tuckered out from our long weekend and drive.
