38 week doctor appt and 2nd thoughts~ 6-1-10

We had our 38 week appointment. I have gained the same amount of weight I did with Cameron (with some extra time still to go) and am measuring about 37 weeks insstead of 38. However, this baby likes to play favorites on what side he is laying which makes my belly a little lopsided. At the end of our appointment we decided to schedule our c-section for Monday June 7th. Turns out the only time they had open was 1:30 in the afternoon. I was not thrilled about this since I knew this would mean no eating and a restless night and day until the c-section.

I was uneasy on the ride home. When I got home and started thinking about things a flood of emotion came over me. I figured out rather quickly that I could NOT just walk into the hospital and go into surgery. I had to at least try to have this baby naturally since there was NO apparent reason he can't be born with surgery.

After much crying, talking to Michael, and reasoning things out we determined I would call the doctor the next day to schedule an appointment to talk to my OB.
